Default Corvette Plant "Old Assembly Line" Build Video

This was presented during a Bowling Green Assembly plant update session at the National Corvette Museum. If you've ever been part of a Corvette Buyer's Tour, this video will probably bring back all of the emotions that you experienced during your build tour. I know it did just that for me.

The last Corvette to be built at the Corvette Plant in Bowling Green, Kentucky, before the old assembly line was removed for a new assembly line to be installed came off the line on July 27, 2017. This video is a high speed look at the build process on the "old" assembly line.

(Once the video is provided by GM, I'll update this post with it. For now, enjoy my video of the video.)

Great video. It brought back memories of the factory tour I was on earlier this year. Thank you for posting it.

Well that was fun. This helps to show people how much really goes on to build a Corvette. This video just touches on few hundred steps and there are several thousand. The GM plant in Bowling Green is worth your time to schedule a tour when they reopen.

You can see all the excessive turns at the end they want to eliminate (right before they drive the car off "final line")
