Black is the best color, imop. Have owned many, have one now, sure it's work.

Black is the ultimate high performance color imho. Its sets apart the men from the boys.

Completely blacked out 17 Z here. Hopefully GM's new 14th shade of grey will be "Road Grime". Will buy.

I'm flying to Philly and picking one up at Kerbeck's a week from today. Black is the only color that naturally hides all the black trim/gobble-de-gook distributed over the car.

It is truly amazing to me how different a black C7 looks from ALL the rest for that one simple reason. But, I confess, I got EVERYTHING in black, hehehe.

Default Why not black?

I had a 13 black GS (My first black Vette) and recently followed up with a 17 black GS. It's true that black seems to be compromised sooner but IT IS a stunning color (?).

Same with me, with my black C5. At first I enjoyed cleaning it but after 9 years (7 of which it was my DD) it got real tiresome. I'm also in the NEVER AGAIN camp. Black looks awesome when clean and swirl free but it never stays that way for long, and you have to be willing to give up a lot of your time to keep the paint swirl free.

^click on "Go Advanced" button next to "post quick reply". Above the text box, you'll see the paper clip icon. Click on that and it will direct you to uploading pics.

Hope this helps. Was hoping to see your car at Carlisle, but spent a lot of time prepping mine for judging and every time I went down to the field, I somehow missed yours.

Let me try that again, not that difficult to detail after each outing. No swirls, no nothing, just deep rich black

Currently, I own a silver 08 Z06. I have had it for 7 year and love it, but I am almost bored with the color. I take great care of the car and the paint looks brand new. It's almost too easy! I have spent tons of money on Zaino, Adams, Chemical Guys, etc. searching for the difference maker, and they all make the car look.....good......but I miss the days of GREAT when I had a black BMW. In fact, I am getting ready to sell my Z06 and buy a black on black GS. I guess I enjoy the torture, even with a daily driver. Count my vote for Black!

Yeah, Vapor-Trails... should be the spittin' image of mine.

A far better pic than any of Kerbeck's. I'll show friends. But, I'll not claim it's actually mine, hehehe.
