C7 corvette is very warm above the transaxle after a long 400 mile trip
Hi guys,
I have a new 2017 Corvette Stingray with manual transmission that is 2 months old (bought 6/2017). Over labor day weekend, I drove 400 miles one-way. When I arrived at my destination, any luggage behind the seats on top of the cargo area (above the transaxle) was really warm.
Is this heat normal after a long trip?

The exhaust pipes go over the rear axles, and they have to be pretty close to the underside of the floor in the cargo area.
The stuff you had in the back kept the floor from radiating the heat into the cabin where it would have been taken care of by the AC system.
