Will we need our own helmet? Are gloves recommended?

I'll be rolling in a M7 GS.
don't hurt the car, I will be driving it next week

Have fun let us know how the first day was tonight!

Sunglasses are pretty important if you usually wear them.
I like track shoes, but sneakers will work fine.
The best thing I brought was my surface tablet, which allowed me to watch my day's PDR sessions in the evening to see where I could improve (requires a micro sdhc card with adapter).

That is true now, but the first time I went in March 2015, most of the 2014 model year cars were Z51 w/o mag ride.

I can't wait I have been watching every video on youtube including the one just posted above I started watching it and said man this seems familiar as I had just watched on youtube a little while ago. I know there is at least one other member going on the 22st hopefully there will be others look forward to meeting other members.
One 16 gig card covered all I needed. And so I wouldn't have to think about it I started recording on the way to the track.

It was 100-plus both days, I wore t-shirts, basketball shorts and these...

This was a year ago. Z51, no mag ride. Glad they all have mag ride now.

Do they allow you to put your SD card in their cars? I've seen all the videos but don't know how they go about taking them. I'm taking a spare 32G and I have a 64G in the car.

You pay $1,000. Without the discount you would have to pay $2,500.

I assume that they are still using the North/South track due to construction on the East track? If so I would recommend marking the start/finish line on the back straight where you will be doing the driver rotations. I marked mine at the Michelin bridge and I only have about 1 run per session with a true lap time. Most of the other laps we would be sitting on the back straight waiting for the group to catch up, waiting to get spacing from another group or doing a driver rotation.

The 16GB card handled all of the track sessions with plenty of room to spare. I think when I first inserted it the PDR showed over 200 or 300 mins of recording time?

Yes, you're generally always in Tr-Sport 1 PTM. I wouldn't say it's any worse or better than Sport or Tour even but the forces involved might very well cause you issue.

I'm generally a little sore in the sides after a full-day HPDE if I've not done one lately, and I suppose it loads up the back as well. Only you will know for sure I guess!

I did the 2 Day M school at the performance center her in greenville SC and was able to bring my gopro during the driving parts. Will they let me place my gopro for other angles or in car shots?
