Looks just like my NPP when I need to clean them... outer tips are black and inners are 'white'/shiny.

Sure would.
Ever since the 1st mule showed up with the camo on the rear and not on the doors I suspected they might be hiding some kind of active aero aspect of the car.
Also, did you notice a lack of rear diffuser in these latest photos?
Seems odd...and suspicious.

It doesn't look like the rear wing is mounted to that piece though so I doubt the entire wing raises and lowers. One of the previous low wing videos showed the wing supports bolted to the rear decklid.
I'm thinking the same, but it is still possible there is some kind of raising and lowering of the wing...or a owner removable wing?

Could be a regular Z06 or GS with the new wing mounted for testing.

First, Hats Off to Jag for continuing to keep us up to date on the ZR1's, slow, but continued unveil. As always, first rate.
I can understand GM wanting to keep a car under wraps, but they've hardly done this with the ZR1. Geez, they've had cars "pose" for picks.
I'm surprised all the folks and magazine artists don't take the existing pics so plentiful on these forums and change the camo to paint so we can get a better idea what they'll look like. I think there was one a while back, but now we've got more and better pics. We've seen at least five different colors, I'd sure like to see a thread showing what these would look like without the camo. Or have a mag come out with artists drawings of the different cars that have been seen instead of the constant barrage of uninformed artists renderings of the ME car that they know little about.
Com'on Forum Editors, get with the program and work on this.

That wing is hideous and that is the small version but like you said to each his own.

Yeah, maybe, but why would they have the new ZR1 wheels? Those are pretty obvious in this video. I haven't really liked those wheels when I saw photos of them sitting still, but they look nice rolling.

testing new wheels at same time?

It's been said before, GM only shows us what it wants us to see, when they want us to see it. Nothing is by accident.

Yeah, I have to agree with you. Not sure if it was in this thread, but I've said it before that when it comes to the C7 ZR1, I'll believe it once it's announced, even if I'm 99.9% certain about it. Chevy is letting us see exactly what it wants us to see, so for now it's all speculation.

No you're not alone. It's just the standard hype that occurs in every generation. At introduction, everyone was crazy about the base and Z51 car. Then came the Z06 hysteria, followed by the GS hysteria, and now it's the ZR1 to keep the hysteria alive. That will soon be followed with C8 hysteria.

Many of us have developed an immunity to this disease. I'm completely and totally satisfied w/ a '14 Z51 and have not yet been infected, but I suppose it's only a matter of time.

It's "interest" from those waiting to buy, "hysteria" from those who want to buy but may not be in a similar position.

Never thought of shopping for a wing at Home Depot. I'm guessing they used pressure treated lumber. Classic!!!
