I had vowed to PTM mine the day I brought it home. Then I saw this booty, and just couldn't. I agree that painting to match looks better with some colors than others. That Laguna Blue is quite sharp looking.

Totally looks right on that color with the striking top color contrast. I personally like that look...enjoy! It's a personal thing as is everything is but the color can be put back to black with nominal effort/cost.

I used to hate it, now I like the black bottom rear valence.

I think if there was a way to "half" paint it, and flaring out that paint just before the vents might look the best. The lower half I think def needs to stay black.

The valance can be removed without removing the complete bumobe the per.
I’ve been thinking the same thing with mine. Would love to see when you do!!!

Can anyone tell me from experience if the paint has any issue adhering to the black material? I may want to get a C7 in red but would have to do some kind of modification to the black at the back.

I like the contrast between the body color (upper) and the black lower. All one color obsures the rear body lines.

How about a wrap, and if you don't like it, peel it off?

Thanks for the suggestion - do you know if they can colour match the wrap to the body colour?

I agree with all of you that having a two tone C7 corvette is the way to go!

There. That’s better!

I have some others for inspiration!

Remind you of anything?

Same idea on the Silverado.

Flip it around on a C5!

Now that is what I call good design! Throw some Camaro taillights on it and we’re all set!
