Default McLaren, Lamborgini, Ferrari vs Corvette

Many times it is hard to get such beauties together in one day. The images below were taken at Spaceport America today located in the deep southern desert of New Mexico. Spaceport America is the joint venture between the State of New Mexico and Sir Richard Branson of Virgin Galactic. This was a private visit and some supercars came along for the event.

While the sports cars were beautiful, the real beauty was in the Spaceport America hanger which was White Knight Two the sub-orbital spacecraft that Branson will charge $200,000 per person for a short sub-orbital flight.

After seeing the images below, our Corvette C7's are simply stunning beauties. What do you think?

The Torch Red C7 is my ride.

The Corvette can hold its own with that group of beauties, plus to me the chrome wheels add a touch of class to the car, black wheels ruin the look of the car. Notice none of the exotics have black wheels on them.

In that particular group, I like the C7's look the best (minus the chrome wheels of course)

I'd still take the McLaren or Lamborghini, but our Corvette definitely holds its own in the group.

Default one thing they have in common

NO RACING STRIPES...
be interesting to gather folks who know really little or nothing about sports cars and have them critique what they see-i'm willing to bet
the corvette would not be rated last....

I have to be honest....to me, one of those cars doesn't belong in the group.

Am I right in thinking the lambo and Ferrari are 10 plus years old?

Like my Vette but that would not be my first choice from that group.

The Corvette certainly is not out of place when side by side with that group.

cool

those cars cost 2-4x what that corvette does and it can run anywhere with them, and requires 1/3rd the repairs

Great Pic.
Don't know about the rest of you, but for me, the closest I'll get to one of the three eruo cars is the pic above, or maybe I'll see one at a Car N' Coffee. On the other hand I can and have bought the C7. Corvette continues to be the affordable super car which I (and probably many others) greatly appreciate.

The corvette looks like it belongs as it is gorgeous-but that is where the comparison ends.

Outstanding photos! All 4 cars are lookers. GM did do a great job with the overall design of the C7. However, there are some engineering concerns that need to be addressed IMHO. I won't go into detail in this thread. Thanks for posting. You have great weather and scenery in NM.

All nice and C7 fits with others very nicely in spite of being many thousands less in price.

MP4 for me all day. That car was a modern rendition of the original NSX. Aside from some very expensive component failures, that's the car to own in that pic. Those chrome wheels kill that C7 but, you like what you like.
