How did you go about ordering this at discount tire?

Thanks for posting that you were able to get these from Tire Rack. I had given up on these thinking Michelin wouldn't make any more Alpin PA4 tires in the 335/25/20.
After seeing your picture, I contacted my local Discount Tire store because I know they are competent in installing these size tires. They did 2 sets of Cup2 tires for my ZR1. If they can't get them, I'll go through Tire Rack and try to find a competent installer.

I just looked on the Michelin website and Tire rack website, neither of them show any kind of AS or winter tire for the C7 GS/Z06.
But the Michelin site sometimes has sections that contradict each other, can you post a link to where they claim to have the widebody AS or snow tires?

So your saying a rear wheel drive vehicle with 400hp should not be driven in the snow
6.2L V8
420 horsepower at 5600 rpm
460 lb.-ft. of torque at 4100 rpm
Best-in-class V8 12,500 lbs. towing capability†
EPA-estimated 15 MPG city/21 highway fuel economy†

I guess your truck theory is out
Corvette's are designed for driving, the person behind the wheel is usually the problem with driving in any condition and not having the correct equipment for the driving environment...
put PSS tires on that truck and it will drive just as bad as any corvette... When it comes down to it, your corvette would actually drive better, there is no weight in the truck bed... I can not tell you how many "trucks" I have pulled out of a ditch or pushed up a hill because they did not have the right equipment to drive in the conditions at the time...
corvette owners have been cornered into thinking they can not drive in rain, snow, ice or any inclement weather and it's just not the case, the corvette is a very well made car that can handle just about any kind of weather.. (not so good in deep water)

I dive a mustang year round and it handles ice and snow great with my blizzacks. Just don't get on it, and you will be fine.
Get those donuts in fast!!!

Agreed, and even when I lived in Minnesota, the roads were plowed very quickly, and there weren't that many days with snow-covered roads. I had a set of Blizzaks on an M3, which was my only car then, and I don't recall more than a 4-5 days in 4 years where I actually had to drive on snow more than 1-2" deep.

Here in New England snow stays on the roads for quite some time, when it falls. Also people around here plow their driveways out into the roads, sometimes roads have 8-10 of this from others driveways.
Also not concerned about my driving ability, its those soccer moms with the Denali going 60mph and no ability to stop.

Looking on Tire Rack's website 5 minutes ago, they still don't show any A/S or winter tires for the C7 GS/Z06. I wonder when?
EDIT: Not saying your tires don't exist, they obviously do. But availability must be limited right now.

I think you just have to call them .... They kinda give you the "really...??" reaction when you tell them you're ordering snow tires for a Z06

Plus if it did snow and the roads are clear it should be still covered with gravel that is worse than the snow.
The other cars on the road paste the poor Corvette in the winter with gravel and maybe salt too!
Your nice new car will get 5-10 years of wear for every 1 winter of DD. Horrible on your car.
The recommendation is don't!
Instead get a nice truck to drive in the winter muck. Or even winter beater car with the snow tire money instead is better if you must.
I always buy light on the options that lose money so fast. Instead you get a free truck and Corvette instead.
Example In January 2015 A new 2015 was MSRP 1lz with comp seats.
Told myself stay near 80k as possible.
Where I could have spent 114k on a loaded car. Instead of the 30k in options
which in 2 years add little to nothing to resale.
Buy a new truck or slightly used for the same range you spent on options maybe a little more.
Winter miles take the price off the Corvette showing poor paint condition and other hints. Is a much more sound decision in my book!
To each his own!
