Default New C7 owner......former C6 guy!

Well.....

I finally join the C7 club today!

Was looking at some C6 Zo6's .....and decided to test drive a C7....wow!

Found a 2014 Z-51 3 LT with 9900 miles in the perfect color combo of Night Race Met Blue and the Kalahari interior....fully loaded and in pristine condition.

Take delivery tomorrow so pics to follow!

Happy Dance..

I traded my C6 for a 2017 C7. Love the car but I will admit I miss my 05 C6 has I had it for 12 years.

Default you'll get it

from my '12 C6 GS to my '14 C7 Z51, I'm still shaking my head (it's been over a year) how big the driving difference is....the C7 shrinks around you, you never feel you're battling bulk or width like I felt in my last C6.......

I purposely avoided riding or test driving a C7 as I did't want to buy one until I was ready....I will miss my almost 12 years of driving C6's....my first was a 2005 Factory delivery and I miss that one a lot!!!! But I am very excited to be in the C7 club and found a really good deal to me she is brand new with only 9900 miles and I saved about 25K from buying brand new.

I was floored when I saw that DARK METALLIC BLUE....and the Kalahari interior is such a departure from the old corvette interiors it just made me WANT IT NOW!

I had 1988 c4 in Midnight Blue...my favorite car of all time (of course I was 18 years old!) I feel like that kid again!!!!

I was looking at a Ferrari as well.......they really made the C7 better then the 360 Modena (2003) I can't get over how my GM improved the car!

I went from a C6 to my C7 and I don't miss the C6 for a single second. Felt the same when I went from my C5 to the C6.

It was a long day....This is my 8th Corvette in my 46 years walking the Earth. Went to another dealer and was given a bait and switch "We just sold that car!" --even though I called and made an appointment to test drive it :45 min before! I was driving home and decided to pull into another car dealership to checkup on a good friend of mine who worked there and low and behold they had what I wanted coming off the truck.

Waiting on FEDEX for my cashiers check to go and pick car up this morning! Better pics to follow!

Just noticed the car in the pic sitting by the other Vettes...IS NOT the one I bought. The one with the interior shot is my car. I was too busy looking at the car to take pics!
