A dealer who is all about the customer will deliver right to your door at no expense to you. Ours did. Granted, most dealers think a car is an appliance, but there still are a few who connects with the emotion.

Thanks Dave, but I have yellow now. Looking to switch it up.

How was it buying sight unseen?

No issue at all other than “are we really doing this”. Paperwork came with car, could easily have refused if car was not 110% to our satisfaction. She does this regularly for Camaro’s across a few states, which is how we hooked up with her a few years ago.

If I have an itch I tend to scratch it, especially when it comes to cars...life is short!

Waiting for dealer to get back to me with approx trade in value.
If it works, I'm off to NH tomorrow morning.

I tend to agree with this. If you have a Z51 with Magride it seems like more of a lateral move. The Z06 would be more dramatic.

That said no harm seeing what they come back with on trade-in. Make sure you factor in total out the door price (taxes, fees, etc).

Absolutely! I have a pre set limit on how much I'm willing to bite.
As far as Z06 goes, I'm not interested.
I'm a big fan of naturally aspirated.

"...about 5 hour..." drive? I had a 1552 mile drive back from Kerbeck's. A pair on the Forum from California drove from NJ home to CA in their new C7 the week before. Come on... how badly do ya want it???

Congrats and enjoy.

I've only had my car since February and started looking at used C7 Z06 prices and then stopped myself...

Holding out for a C8 for my next upgrade.

I have three daughters (all over 24) and they all think I'm crazy. My girlfriend just laughs. Hey, it's only money.
Life's too short.
Already ordered parts for it. LOL

Congrats!
Great day for a ride to Nashua on Thursday.
Have you driven a GS prior to purchasing.
I look forward to your comments after purchase.
Enjoy the ride!

You sound like me....once the "itch" comes you have to scratch it! Manual GS Verts are hard to find! Looks like you found a nice one and you can never go wrong with Torch Red! Congrats!

Didn't want to do it without PPF in vulnerable spots. MacMulkin is having it installed for me today. Price was same as local and I save on tax.
