Will the Extended Warranty from the Denny Menholt cover the screen problem?
I swear I knew this was going to come back to haunt me when the dealer here said that a reflash or whatever it's called will correct the annoying s "Max Hedrum" looking screen. Sure enough it's doing it again intermittently and it's out of warranty. I did buy the extended warranty from Denny Menholt (can't remember the salesmans name but he came highly recommended by this forum).
Will the extended warranty cover this screen problem? I recorded the problem with my phone so I have proof. If they will fix it, will they just replace it this time because this is irritating as hell. It's too nice of a car to have the screen acting like this.

Fichtner is who I think you're referring to. I have the Platinum through them, you should call the warranty folks (or the dealer can do it for you) but you should also have received a copy of your docs.
In the exclusions section, mine says:
AM/FM radio/cassette/CD players exceeding $3000 repair or replacement cost, speakers, audio/video equipment, any pixel damage on display screens
I suppose that could be read a couple different ways. Seems to me if it doesn't exceed $3000 then it would be covered. Best way to tell though is to take it in for service and have them contact the warranty company. They should be able to tell you before proceeding on any work order.

It's more than an infotainment system because it also controls many of the vehicle's settings. Moreover, this isn't "pixel damage."

Yea, that was mostly my point that there could be a limit to their liability. But $3k is hopefully pretty high.

Warranty
Guess I made a good impression on this customer!! The radio is covered up to $3,000 and it should never add up to that!!!

Not sure when you bought the plan but you either bought it from me, Patrick Ryan(previous warranty person) or my nephew Ken Fichtner.

I can't believe someone is going to warranty my track car for 100k miles for $1500.00!

Like blackjack insurance sold by the casino as part of the game at card tables--don't worry, the "house" isn't losing money. The actuaries set pricing so thers's never any overall long term losses.

No, the other way around. It will pay up to $3k. If the repairs are over $3k you pay the difference.

Yes, it's covered multiple ways because: A) it won't cost $3K, and B) most importantly, the screen itself is not "a radio/casette/CD player" because as I said above, it is the only way to change many of the the car's settings (NPP, lock/unlock preferences, display settings, entry settings, etc.), and your problem doesn't sound like screen "pixel damage."

Your extended warranty appears on the GM computer system at your dealer. One thing to remember, the GM dealer is conditioned to say "Out of Warranty" because it's a 2014. I just had a repair completed under warranty at one of the top 20 Corvette dealers. They initially said, my warranty had expired. I told them the car is a CPO car and has an extended GMEPP warranty. This time they took the time to check the computer and responded back that I was covered. You might have to tell them to check the computer.

hope you don't have to use it---remember glass, brakes, clutches, tires, batteries, filters and other regular service items are not covered, only actual broken items or systems. With the price seemingly cheap for the extended coverage, it's actually bodes well for the projected near and medium term service life of the car.
