Default Amazing! Elkland Chevy - Scott Mays

I just got home from buying my first new Corvette. I have bought a LOT of cars over the years but this has been the BEST experience EVER! Hats off to Elkland Chevrolet and Scott Mays! I was in and out in about 1/2 hour after having made the deal over the phone from out of state. When calling in for making the deal it took about 10 minutes - no back and forth - just straight up and the best possible deal made right then. I told them the deals I was finding on line and what I wanted to do and that is all it took. NO pressure sales. NO taking my money and trying to leverage me. NO smoke and mirrors. NO disappointments. Very refreshing! Worth the drive too - beautiful countryside to drive a new Vette home through. They have several left on the lot ready to go as of today.... Just wanted to let ya'll know if you are looking - NOW is the time!

Never been there, but have seen a lot of their cars advertised on Ebay! Very attractive pricing! Good Luck with your new ride!

Congraulations on your new Vette! I live in Pa. and know of the Dealer, been watching and looked today but they don't have what I want. They have a blue Grand Sport 2LT with a good price I agree but I don't like black wheels or the video recorder. This will be my 6th vette but my first brand new. The closest I ever got to a brand new one was when I bought my 1970 454 coupe. It was a Demo with 9,000 miles on it. GM was on strike at the time and there wasn't much out there. I'll keep on the hunt for my 2017.

Here is the photo provided by the dealership of what is now MY car. Just a basic 1LT A8 with few options - BUT it is almost exactly what I wanted without the wait and a great price

Now I need to dress it up a bit and will be following this forum for help. I have purchased Z06 1/4 scoops, ACS front splash guards, OEM rear splash guards, ABS black side skirts, white Z51 OEM rear spoiler, catch can and am working on a carbon flash hood stinger sticker. I will need guidence on installing ALL of this. Thanks all

Default Elkland Chevrolet

Bought a new Grand Sport from Scott Tubbs at Elkland in April. Done by phone from Florida. Very easy transaction with Mr Tubbs and Mr Walters, the owner. They were both very helpful. Beautiful car. Love it!.

Bryan, first of all, welcome to Corvette Forum! Second, congrats on your new ride. Third, "the natives" get restless if you post about a new Corvette purchase and you don't post pictures....you'll learn!!!!

I'm sure you didn't post pictures yet because you're too busy driving your new Corvette.

Congratulations! I did the same thing a month ago from Weir Chevrolet in Red Bud, Il, 600 miles from home. Owned old Corvettes but this was the first new one, a great feeling.

Congratulations, she is a beauty. And remember, there's nothing basic about the 1LT. It's the same as any other Vette out there without the luxuries inside. Enjoy, and don't forget to wave.

Thanks all! I am still getting used to it. Too scared to get on it just yet - need to learn how to control a car like this. I found myself going 45 in 55 zones thinking I was going much faster. I did get on it a bit getting on the interstate - 20 to 70 is out of this world - then I go a bit below the speed limit - AND this is just the base 455hp automatic. I can only wonder what a Z06 is like.... I am busy buying everything for it now. Got carbon flash decals for hood and roof coming, Z06 quarter panel scoops, Z51 spoiler, ACS front mud guards, GM rear mud guards, side skirts, PCV catch can, white alloy wheel protectors, etc... I gotta dress it up you know... I am still trying to figure out how to store more than 5 FM radio presets - anybody know?

Take note of the brake dust on the wheels. I changed over to ceramic pads and I'm very pleased.
