Would I love a new C7 ZR1? Absolutely.
Would I get rid of my ZR-1 so I get the latest and greatest? Hell no.
I don't care about how much the ZR-1 is worth, or could be worth.
What matters to me most is whether or not it puts a smile on my face each and every time I drive it. Once it stops doing that, THEN it's time to get rid of it and go after the latest and greatest.
Enjoy what you have, and appreciate what you've worked hard for. Life is too short to constantly be going after the latest and greatest - especially with the way technology changes these days.
Just my own $0.02.

When is the 2019 production supposed to begin? I'm a little bit sad that I don't even have my 2018 yet and it's already going to be a year old!

What's going to be new and different for 2019 on the GS ??? Perhaps a HP BUMP !!!!!
Why rush it if it's the same???

Will all 2019 models be available to order 11/30 or will there be another model(s) introduced a few months later?

Well, this just puts the brakes on my desire to order an '18. So, is the '19 a C8? Mid-engine?
Glad this announcement has been made giving me a heads-up on it. Thanks!!

AHHHH.. I just saw the mid engine at Micky Ds pictures and rushed here. No way in hell are they rolling that through Micky Ds and going to make everyone wait to buy in 2022. Its happening..
I'm holding out damn it.. but when is it? 2019?
Is it a c8 or different model? 70K or 250K? or will it be out jan 2020 and 2019's will be exactly the same as today but GM offer amazing new Tech like side warning lights. woooo. ahhhhh
Rick- I cant remember if it was you or someone else that offered to hold an allocation for the Zr1 and c8 or 2019? If so how does that work for people in other states where giving HIV is not a felony?

My guess is no HP bump because the Z06 exists and the ZR1 is coming and now a mid-engine is coming. The Z51/GS already is at ~3.7 0-60, so any HP bump would likely not yield any performance increase. Any HP bump would be for marketing, and as it is now the engine is bulletproof. Why mess with it? Just my opinion.

WOW ! So when I put my 17 GS into winter storage in a couple weeks it will go in 4 1/2 months old and come out in spring 2 years old over 1 winter storage. I'm in the northern part of county I think If I had a 18 order in with Dec build date I think I would call dealer and see if anyway info on changes on 19 and to see if order could be changed for 19. If I remember right there was only less than 100.00 difference between 17 and 18 model year. December build you get car maybe end of Jan. early Feb. Depending on production start up for 19 you get car in mid / late spring either way if up north you won't be driving till spring anyway.
