What should I do?
So I took my car in for service because the bass from the door speaker is creating an annoying rattle from the door panel. When I push on the door panel, it goes away.
I spend 2 hours waiting and the SA comes back and says they see nothing wrong. I offer to play a song where the rattle is easy to hear, he says that is not needed. Every question I ask he makes excuses like, "That car wasn't designed for a lot of bass", and "If we ordered a new door panel it's not going to fit the same". Just a bunch of BS on top of BS. Then he recommends that I take it to a stereo shop and have dynamat installed.
In my head, I'm like why TF would I have to get my car fixed on my own?
I stay calm and just leave because I'm supposed to be at work anyways and tired of waiting. I called the Service Manager and left a message.
So how should I handle this situation?

"It was not designed for a lot of bass" is an absolute bullshit statement. If you didn't change any components in the sound system, it was specifically designed for the application it is being used in and his statement is pure ignorance.
Rest assured if a lot of bass made them a buck, they'd be bragging about the performance of their design.

Go elsewhere, period. Even if you go over his/her head there is no assurance anything else will be done correctly, or may be screwed-up in spite. Some places one just doesn't want to deal with... now you know one of them.

There is a TSB to add an adhesive inside the door. I think the adhesive goes between the impact bar and the inside of the door skin. It's a simple fix and a far better choice than replacing the door shell.

At the end of the day while this isn't right, I'd just take the door panel off myself and play around with it. Spending hours at the dealer with all that aggravation isn't worth it.

I took it to a different dealer and I had them do the TSB for the door rattle. Got it back and as soon as I drive off, the rattle is even worse. So I'm pretty mad.
I run a few errands and bring it back. I call this morning and they tell me they are waiting on GM to approve 2 new door panels. In a way I'm happy to finally get the problem fixed, then I'm kinda nervous that they'll do a sh!tty job. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that everything comes out good.

My '14 had the issue, and so does my '17. My guess is that the bonding adhesive is put on is spots as opposed to the full length of the beam and the beam is so close to the skin, that it rattles where there is no adhesive. I doubt a new door panel would be any better. I would have them try adding more adhesive first.

Perhaps his rattle is coming from the inside of the cabin and it's a different issue. My rattle is heard most outside the car, and if I push on the center of the door skin, it goes away.

I added dynamat to my doors and it no more rattle and the car is quieter (less road noise). Win, win.
