Chrome or Machined Finish on Silver Z51
Just purchased a 2016 Z51 Blade silver Vert with carbon flash mirrors, spoiler and hood stripe. I do not like the stock black wheels. I am thinking of going with a machined face or chrome Z51 or Z06 wheels. Blade silver owners please chime in with thoughts and photos!

Another vote for machine face.
I previously had a silver vette. Chrome wheels on it made the silver look dull - it took away from the silver on the car. Put comp grey wheels on it and then the silver of the car popped.
It's all subjective, though, and you'll probably get recommendations across the board.

My vote is for chrome or painted silver...unfortunately, the machine face reminds me of flower petals from the side view...
On edit: I would actually prefer polished aluminum or having the whole rim with a machine texture.

IMO, either of those two wheel finishes will look good on your car. Hopefully someone will post pics of each finish on a silver car so you can decide.

I had Chrome on my 2014 Convertible and replaced with machine Face. Never looked back. The Machine Face IMO looks way better than Chrome and can't tell you the number of people who have told me how much they like them

+1 for chrome
but get what you like and not what others like.
Good pics here of both.

Yeah, that's why I said it's all subjective and that OP will get recommendations across the board on wheel types.
I'm a firm believer of "get what you want, and enjoy what you have."
Only person's opinion of ultimate value on one's rig is the owner's him/herself.

I know they make these wheels for C7 wide body, but I'm not sure if they are available in Z51 fitment.

Although not Blade Silver, I think the Machine Face Cup wheels look great. Here's a pic on an Arctic White Z06.
