Most likely yes on the warranty question, but help me out, what am I looking for? Discoloration? line in the leather? someone's overcoat on your seat?

Yeah, I would think they would warranty that.

Just make Sure you tell them you use nothing but water and damp micro fiber clothes to clean your interior, otherwise they might say it's the product your using. Wipe you interior down if you have used something in the past before you bring it in.

After two months, my service advisor still hasn't gotten back to me. He said GM is reviewing this case. How long does it take for GM to warranty something like this? Absolutely absurd.

Service advisor and or manager will make the call. GM does not have to review this. They should have ordered you a new seat cover before you left the dealership. Call them back and get an update. If you get no action from them, go to a different dealership.

They have no interest at your current dealership in solving your problem. Try another dealer and don't leave until they say it will be covered or it want.

They have either forgot about you, or hoping you'll forget the whole thing. Call 'em back. If they buck just tell you'll take your business to another dealer right after you talk to their General Manager. Good luck.

Sadly another person with a Corvette getting the Malibu experience from the dealer. No need for that to be reviewed. A good dealer would just get that done.

Any trim, seat, etc fit and finish issues (even right before the bumper to bumper 3yr/36K mileage warranty expired) was immediately resolved by the service advisor ordering the part while I was there without the service dept having to talk to anyone. It was written up on the service report. I would receive a post card that the part was in and to schedule an appt for installation. The part usually arrived within 10 days and installed without drama.

If you are using leather treatment on those seats, I might reconsider using it once the seat cover gets replaced under warranty.

Default Seat cover

Why is this warranty? This is clearly a result of outside influence and not a defect. Take responsibility .

Is it?

How can you make that call with a picture? I would say just the opposite because if the line on the top part of the seat on that pic.

IIRC I've seen another thread here talking about the same problem. And, I think it was covered under warranty without any problems.

No matter how it happened, it shouldn’t have.

I did go back last week and he said GM is still reviewing it. He also told me my temperature control **** seizing up is normal and so is my carbon fibre dash piece which is starting to come loose. I really should have kept my old 2014 and skipped this new one. That was a great car.

Brother, I'm afraid the biggest problem is your dealers service dept. Neither of these problems are "normal." IMHO you should try another dealer if possible.

Your service advisor needs a review!!!!

Go to the service manager and explain what has happened and see if you get positive action from him/her. If you do not, then yes as the above posts say, go to another dealer.

All of your issues are not normal and warranty will cover it.

Good luck.
