Default lbr stingray convertible, black top, spice red

Ordered a Long Beach red Stingray convertible with black top, spice red interior, manual transmission. Obviously a rare combination of convertible with manual, spice red with black top. Hope that doesn't cause delays.

Since you posted in this thread you must have a TPW of 1-1-18, yes?

Sweet car btw

US Icon: I see there are TPW 1/8 and will probably be 1/15 builds, we should get them in here too.

I see several more in the customer serving tracking thread have our TPW, but unsure who may find this thread, although I linked it there.

US Icon; Sounds good...gonna get interesting. Not enough data to put colors/dates together yet. Hopefully we will get more forum members with TPWs.

In addition to this thread, which will only be a tiny snapshot of the 2018 builds, perhaps we should have a broader thread for all of the fall '18 builds to see who got new paint and who old paint. I'll start one soon.

The biggest question will soon become how do we know if our Vettes got new or old. We should have some good intel from our usuall guys in the know like Jagamajaragan, Mike@crisswell, MacMulkin, Rick@conti, and Zymurgy, and/or a GM release.

Personally, I am hoping to see a bunch of guys with December builds posting their Admiral blue Vettes got new paint.

👠I would appreciate that. I have a November 27 TPW.

BTW, was in fantasy land yesterday on the Chevy website and configured my build...again, looks like they just increased the destination charge to $1095, from $995. The wait continues...

First they shorten the 2018 production year, then they increase the Destination Charge. Damn! Our order prices are not set in stone until we get a VIN and the paperwork.

Actually, our 2018 order prices are set in stone, including the destination charge. They cannot increase the price of our cars now, we signed paperwork and left deposits. The nice thing is, if there are incentives at the time of delivery, we can also get those deducted off our final price. It's win/win for those of us with 2018 orders in the system right now.

Actually, I didn't sign any paperwork. Mike got my $2000 deposit though.

Mike's a stand up guy, he will honor the 2018 pricing and destination charge, that I'm sure of.
