How about
If/when you do spill something on the seats would it be a good idea to place the seat fan and then maybe the seats heater in service that help with the drying? . . Plus it might also be a good idea to see if they still work.

Purchase an anteater and let it loose in the car. Added bonus is they eat termites too, in case the 2x4s you haul home from Home Depot are infested.
If this fails, follow dmaxx3500's advice.

Those stories on take out are bad enough but think about what happens when a Clorox bottle with the lid not on tight gets turned over in the back seat. Black leather, black carpet and Clorox don't go together very well.

This makes my story of Mr.owc6 sshcmeearing an egg burrito onto the sueded A pillar in Albuquerque pale in comparison!
But if this didn't happen in the Vette (back seats?), then pshaw!

The risk of spillage is bad enough not to mention having to smell that sickening "greasy fast food" sent that can linger for days it seems.
No food eaten or carried in my Vettes, but then I'm a car lover not a "it's only a car" type guy.

Yeah if it had of been in the Vette I would really have been pissed. It was in the back seat of a 4 door Silverado truck which we take on trips if we take the kids. The looks they give when they crawl in the back though. lol

Mine was the day we decided to stop at a Sonic while on a road trip. While opening the little BBQ sauce thingy the wife lost control. BBQ sauce in the door cubby, and in the little holes of the door speaker cover. Luckily none hit the carpet. I think we have all been through some sort "oh chit" moment like that.
