Can anyone show me where I would connect jumpstart cables in the engine bay instead of hooking up to the battery in the back ?

Unfortunately, there are no connectors under the hood. You have to connect directly to the battery in the back.

There is nothing in my owners manual about connecting cables under the hood. Only the battery in the back.

Just back of the fusebox on the passenger side is a positive 12V post for charging and jumping.
