Kinky Top
Getting about that time..When seat heat, interior heat and windows up ain't enough..
Ladies put them tops on,up...(Northerner's Only)
Hooded sweatshirts are for Jeeps Only..
So is your top wrinkled like a 72?
My Toy must have spent a lot of time...In Top Down,Buy Me Mod?? One of the whoo's of sitting folded @ about 200 degrees.
Read what to do..Steam it,Sun it.No Sun time top stayed down...Heat gun..No way..
Hmmm,Hair dryer..Yup,Big difference..I was worried..Not now.
I'll give it another session soon
.Your Hdryer may be hotter..Be Careful..Watch the Fabric closely..It is a slow process
Before
After: Actually the photo looks worse. The frame outline isn't that noticeable. Those kinks were deep.Photo's were taken at nite indoors.

My top has wrinkles similar to your first photo after it's has been down but they disappear
in about a day after putting the top back up.
One reason why you shouldn't store car with top down.

The first time I put my top down I left it down for a couple days and it looked worst than yours upon raising the top. I was pretty bummed wondering how I was going to get the wrinkles out. Went into the garage the next day and all wrinkles were gone as they are in the above photo.

I have the same top creases,, don't really care. i didn't buy a conv to drive with the top up. I keep the top down in the garage also. Saw a Aston Martin with the same condition. Maybe as ragtops have gotten thicker in construction , may be a trade off?

Who's says it's time to put the top up and heaters on.........
I did 120 miles today with the top down. It was beautiful here in NJ.
Gonna do another 200 on Friday.

My top goes up every time I put it in the garage. It's under warranty so I'm not worried about overworking the mechanism and having to pay for a repair. With the top up the inside stays clean. When the warranty runs out I'll go back to leaving the top down and throwing a sheet over it like I did with my C6. And, yes, the top wrinkled. Gives it character.

If it didn't leave wrinkles, then it wouldn't really be a soft top.
