Did the unthinkable today!
.....at least to many Corvette owners. Let my 9 year old Westie ride in the C7. Mia was diagnosed with stage 5 lymphoma approximately 8 months ago. She recently finished 16 rounds of chemo at Purdue University Small Animal Hospital and is currently in remission. We know it is likely that her remission will be short-lived, so we try to do as many special fun activities as we can with her. Today’s “bucket list” item was a top down ride in the Vert to Starbucks for a “Puppuccino”.

If my wife would let me have another dog, it would ride in the Vette any time it wanted to. Seat covers can be replaced. The love and affection a dog shows its owner ........... Priceless !

Best wishes with her treatments. It’s amazing how they get inside your heart and home.

Pets can certainly be part of the family. Hope that there are many more rides in her future.

Good for her. Hope all the treatments work out and she stays around for a long time. She's sweet and I'm sure was scared with all that's gone on. Other posters are right they become part of your family it is hard to see them suffer even if its while standing in front of you wanting a lick of your popsicle after they ate theirs in one gulp. God bless her and will pray for her.

Enduring, unconditional love, unimaginable heartache.
Savor the moments, endure the storm.
Wishing the pup a safe journey. Wishing your heartache turns into precious memories.
Damn animals, they really get ya.

Not unthinkable to me! However, I have read several threads on this forum regarding pets in Corvettes and know that opinions vary widely on the topic. As for me, I can’t imagine not sharing my car with my best friend, but I do respect those who have differing opinions.

Sad to hear about Mia..... we had a Scottie and a Westie (Mac and Fergie) and have lost them both after a long 15 year life....
Ride on Mia!!!!...When Mia passes ask her to look up our two Terriers in "Doggie Heaven" and tell them about HER ride.....smile.... LK
