Not a problem, nothing wrong with you. That detailer is giving you the protection you are seeking, based on your usage.
A d as I said you will get multiple opinions, which is a good thing, it educates us on what people are trying and the end result.

The Nanoskin works on many cars, but for me it was only good for about 50% of the cars I see in my shop. On some paints we found it to not be soft enough and carried the contaminants on the surface causing very minor scratches/holograms.
This is great technology, no question, but not the end all to removing serious contaminants.

Have any of you guys used the F-11 product ? a few guys at work purchased some ( pretty expensive). I did just a little you tube research and of course got mixed reviews but surprisingly they where mostly positive. I just recently used the (P-21) I think the product was. My car is rarely driven, it's 2 years old and only rained on once. When I went to clay bar it the clay just slid across like it was on ice cream. I'm not that much of a specialist when it comes to detail but I keep my vehicles clean. The biggest benefit to the F-11 is time and one product for almost everything ??? Take a look when you can and respond.

As for wax though....... the companies that sell it talk about the shine......but the real reason to use IMO..... it is found in how it amounts to suntan lotion for your paint.
I have heard the same thing over the years. Most people don’t use clay bar anymore.
