Mag Ride 2015 Z51?
I am looking at a 2015 Artic white Z51 for purchase. The window sticker shows it as a 2LT plus some other options. What I do not see is the Magnetic ride control listed. Does that mean it is not in the car? I did a google search on options and don't see it listed there either? Is the mag ride simply the **** in the center console that changes the ride?

Also don't see the battery protector listed. Is this necessary?

Magnetic ride was optional on top of the Z51 package. Battery protection is just a trickle charger you can buy for under $100 that plugs into the "cigarette lighter" in the trunk.
Do you have a link to the car for sale?

If it's not on the window sticker, that car is not equipped with it. All C7s have the center control ****, which controls a number of things, MSRC being one. But without MSRC, the **** won't do anything for the suspension, which is not adjustable.
As for the battery protection package (BPP), you can buy a CTEK 3300 on Amazon, with a 12v plug connector for less than GM charges for it, and that's all the BPP is.

OP,
I take it you're looking at this car on-line and can't physically inspect it. Again, if it's not on the window sticker, it's not MSRC equipped.
If you can physically inspect it, all you have to do is take a peak under one rear corner. Mag shocks are black. Standard are yellow.

Mag Ride 2015 Z51?
You have good taste! I have a white/Black Z51 with mag ride.
I would absolutely go for a car with Mag Ride and NPP exhaust! I would not like to live without it. You can road trip the car in touring mode and run active driving on back roads in sport or track. I cant imagining track driving without the possibility to run the different settings under track. I love Sport 2 on the track!

Bought a C6 Z51 without mag shocks and ride was fine for me. Did the same for my 2014 Z51. Also good ride.
Now have a Grand Sport that comes with Mag Shocks. Just as GM says, ride in Touring is softer than my 2014 Z51 without them (my observation after 3 1/2 years is only modestly softer.). As they also state, in Sport Mode it is stiffer than my none mag shocks Z51 (which I have validated.). Sport and Track Mode are a benifit in high “g” turns but Track Mode matches what one poster stated: “You can feel if you’re going over a dime!”
I drive in Tour Mode with steering set always at Sport Mode and NPP always in Track Mode. However no such option for throttle response. In the 2014 Sport Mode, where I drove 95% of the time, it had the most aggressive throttle response. In Weather Mode it was slower to fit the driving situation. Was not happy with the slower throttle response in Tour Mode as the Grand Sport has it more agreessive in Sport Mode and even more in Track. Added a Vitesse throttle response adjuster. I have it set at 4 or 5, which I feel matches the 2014 Sport setting. It can be set from 0 (same as OEM) to 9 (which I call boy racer) than has the throttle open almost fully at ~75% pedal.
If the OP finds a Z51 without mag shocks and travels over good roads, I would not panic! You can see the yellow non mag shocks through the rear wheel spokes!

Yes I am from Long Island NY. The roads out here are very good compared to Ny boros. After reading another thread on this site, seemsto me as if those who have mag ride say they would never buy a Vette without it. Thats a pretty strong statement. My other consideration is resale down the road. Will there be less buyers without Mag.
My issue is I am buying the car with my son and he is being very specific on what he would like to buy. Its making it very difficult to say the least. I tried to tell him we may never find all that we are looking for in the car since we are not custom ordering. Must have looked at over 25 cars over the past 2 months. Ugh...

Yes, thought he could use the CJ5 I had when in CT with AllTerain tires!
Frankly I did not find the ride that much different even over RR tacks with my 2014 Z51 than my Grand Sport set at Touring (my rough road section!)
But agree if he must travel on the bad roads as those in Long Island say, I’d get something that could deal with them! Had fun with the CJ5 Jeep in NYC on a Saturday when you find the street lights are synchronized! Could go over the steel plates covering holes in the street as if I was off-roading in OH!
