Default Z06 2016 Corvette Liquid spills

Hello,
Does GM Warranty cover liquid spills which spilled on to the display screen Two days ago while it was in the cup holder. Make: 2016 Corvette I'm so upset My passenger place a reg. cup of tea in the cup holder in the car, when I exit the lot and made a left turn it slashed what I thought was a small amount on the holder. The display was working find all night afterward with no problem. Two days later I notice the LCD Dash display screen would not come on it stayed black. The display screen is still operable with moving up and down. The please advise if possible Thanks

GM warranty covers things wrong with the car by itself, not by people doing things to it. It's not insurance. Sorry.

GM warranty only covers manufacturer defects.

The liquid being spilled on the screen may or may not have anything to do with the screen going black/blank. It may just be a coincidence. One day your screen works and the next it doesn't. It happens.

You are going to have to get it fixed, so just take it in and see what the dealership says.

Take it to the dealer, they might cover it under warranty.
