Incorrect. Everything is there to accurately measure each dampers fluid temperature +/- 3C. It’s physics.

Exactly the same as the OEM software. All damper parameters including rate of change are based off damper velocity calculated to the wheel. Also, all these parameters are also scaled by vehicle speed. However wheel rate is a function of Kinematics, linkage ratios, and spring rate, it’s not a damper parameter.

How can DSC be fully active if there are no algorithms for heave, pitch, and roll transient roll control?

Incorrect. The OEM controller is still fully relative velocity dependent. Position can differentiated into velocity with clever filtering into a very accurate velocity signal.

So I assume based on this self-proclamation of technical superiority that Ferrari, Lamborghini, Audi, Land Rover, and Ford will soon be switching from the same software capabilities that GM uses to DSC.

congratulations

At least you don’t brag about it

Settle down, Chester, Spike needs his space.

Why is it that not until DSCsport tunes the c7 chassis and customers are raving the results so positive that gm responds with new tuning, next gm will use my alignment settings and setups. Sounds like DSC should be offered an early delivery allocation ZR1. I've only had praise for the exceptionally well engineered C7 Corvette I think GM and everyone in the Corvette community should be delighted to have DSCsport and myself involved.
thanks for your continued interest. I invite you again to meet with us face to face at PRI for any in-depth engineering.

agree 100%. I talked with my dealer tech yesterday and he didn’t know anything about the upgrade and didn’t find it when he looked. He said he needed to hook my 16 Z06 up to the computer and it would tell him if anything is available. Not sure about that.

My 2017 non-Z51 Stingray goes to my small town dealership (our Corvette club sponsor) Monday for the update.

I'd sure appreciate being able to see the work order or whatever they call the piece of paper you get when it's done. My dealer told me there was no update for 2017's
can you scan it and post it?

Default mines done

Had my 16 ZO6/ZO7 done last Monday. It stayed over night. Much better ride in touring which is what I was looking for. I keep my steering and exsaust in sport.

Just trying to confirm the part number on your invoice corresponds to the part number in the PDF file .

Default It's $350 for the GM updated calibration.

OMG, folks - you are over-thinking this. It costs you $350. That's it... and some of us think it's worth it (who have had the GM update done). As always, YMMV.

I spoke to my Service Writer at my Hendrick dealership today. He said it's $350 to purchase the software and then 2 hours of labor to install it at $125 or 150 per hour. That could possibly be $650 to do this........yikes.

"Installation of the calibration will be done at no cost to you at your local GM dealer.
Note to Dealers: The calibration download and installation is to be charged to labor OP 0602448."

Looking for some input here. I asked my dealer, Stingray Chevrolet in Florida, about this update for my '14 Z51 and they said it would cost $590. They said it was a hardware update that was $350 for the part and $240 labor. This doesn't sound right from what I'm reading. Is there some tech sheet I can send them?

Thank you very much! GM's communications prowess of late leaves much to be desired.
