Weathertech Mats
I was thinking of replacing the Weathertech decal with something vette themed. Has anyone done this?

I got the deep dish ones for my mustang and after a while the sides started to bow inward which my feet would catch on when I got in the car, making things worse. I got their regular mats and have been very happy. I don’t plan on spilling a gallon of water in the footwell r trunk so feel the base rubber weathertech mat is more than sufficient. I always buy from weathertech.

I got the mats recently and had the same thought.
I've had these same type emblems made before, but was getting a couple hundred made. The cost difference between 10 of them and 200 was around $50 ($350 vs $400) due to set up cost.
If you can find another emblem that is of similar or smaller size it would probably work.
Another option would be covering it with some vinyl. Cover it in black, then have a design cut and put over top.

Replacing it would offer you some customization options. Wouldn’t be bad if the price was right.

I do not understand why buy Weathertech mats for a Vette. You can get plastic mats even transparent from Wallmart for $ 10. Why pay 15 times more for a cheap looking plastic mats. Especially in a Vette! Loyd mats are carpets with Vette logos. Their price is justified, not weathertech! Plastic mats might be appropriate for trucks or SUVs! Why cheapen your Vette!

Weathertech mats sure are NOT for me. I think they're ugly, like people putting newspaper on the car floor to protect their nice floor mats. Granted, the floor mats are protected by newspaper but your car inside looks like crap!!

Weathertechs are great in my pickup and the wife's DD. Even in North Dakota we don't need them in the Vettes. If you're gonna make that big of a mess the Vette can't get out of the garage, snow is too deep.

How does this 'cheapen' your Vette? You want to go to a car show, take them out and put the carpet mats in. You want to DD your car, put 'em in and save your carpet mats.
My ego is old enough that it isn't inflated/deflated on what I worry about what others might think about my floor mats.
Have a good one,
Mike

I actually prefer the look of them over any other mat.
The Vette isn't a luxury car to me, it has great style and nice features, but not "plush". The Lloyd's mats are very nice, well crafted pieces, but not the style I'm looking for in mine. I also don't care for the extra emblem. I've got the crossed flags on the nose, steering wheel, rear end, and my custom waterfall. It says Corvette on the door sills, fuel rail covers, and rear end. Stingray emblems on the fenders and rear cargo mat. There's enough brand placement all over the car, don't need it under my feet as well.
The weathertech fit is perfect have great function, and in my eye, matches the overall style of the car.

I drive barefoot. Give it a try. I just slip into my slip on sandals. When I sit down into the seat with my feat and legs not in the car, I slip them off and put them in the back. What about wet sandals? I have a tray they go into. Water and mud stays in the tray. But, with that said, living in AZ now where it only rains 3 times a year is nice touch.

Here is another example using the same Avery App and Labels (15516)
There are two labels per sheet (5.5”x8.5”) so in this case you would get four on each label x 2 = 8 total. But it is capable to have all 8 with a different designs.
I know, two much time on my hands.

Ha. I don't' drive with sandals. Read the post again. I take the sandals off and drive barefoot. My Vette is an automatic, but I do the same with my other car that is a manual. I'm not necessarily a neat freak, but that is a side benefit of keeping the car clean. I just prefer to drive barefoot. Clutch or not.

No issues with any of them. I have an M7. Now what I won’t drive with are Flip Flops (I also don’t like wearing them in general but a proper sandal is no problem.
