Its just chrome is out of style and has been for a while now.

If you dont like black there is painted or machine-faced.

Chrome is for C5 and older.
I would disagree that they are out of style.

Grumpy Old Geezer. You probably hang out on your front porch in your pleated khakis pulled up over your belly button while yelling at the neighborhood kids to "get off your lawn and keep that racket down".

I am gonna second that vote for the OEM Chrome Z51 wheels. Just ordered my Long Beach Red 18 with those on it. Yea, I remember the 70's.

Not according a recent thread here where chrome wheels were the most popular choice by a substancial margin.
Actually, I don't believe they have ever been out of style though have had ups and down in popularity over the years.

Final Count:
Chrome = 33
Black = 24
Silver Aluminum = 21

I think it depends on the model.

They are very in style on SUVs.

Interesting that 29% of all 2016 C7s were equipped with chrome wheels.
I expect it may have been quite a bit more than that if not for the $2000
this option added to the base price of the car.

Sometimes it's not easy.Depends on the exterior and caliper color
Then sometimes that doesn't help

I have a Cyber Gray Z51 with chrome wheels, chrome really looks great with the CG. If I was going to buy new wheels would get the chrome ZO6 wheels, looks a little more interesting on the car.

Another idea....TSWs....love them on my C6...reasonably priced too. Check Discount Tire Direct on line for pricing.
