No offense taken. All I try to do is provide helpful information for my fellow Corvette enthusiasts and generate excitement for the brand. Why do I do this? Because I've been in love with the Corvette since I was a kid, was able to buy my first one 11 years ago at the age of 36, have had the fortune of owning 18 Corvettes since then (including at least one from every generation), have received a ton of help from the people on this forum, have made more friends in the Corvette community than I would have ever dreamed possible, and because of all this, I just want to give back what I've been given and help others around here. So no thanks is ever needed because I do it out of my own gratitude and passion. I'm having a blast!

The reason I think its a big deal: someone who just ordered an '18 might see the colours and think "man I wish I would have waited for a '19 in THAT colour!"
That's what makes it big to me. Not really any other reason

I don't know if Rick is claiming to have advance knowledge of the specific additional color, but if he is that is the second time this week he has pulled "I have advance knowledge and you don't" card. It is tiring, condescending, and ultimately does not advance the conversation. It isn't that there aren't people somewhere who know, but those that do generally don't admit it.

Call it how you may but some including myself appreciate a heads up. If you don't, just skip the post. Rick works very hard to keep his fan base informed and deserves better.

Didn't GM leak something about ZR1 blue calipers a while back. I wonder what flavor of blue it was and if it is related.
Or were those calipers for the carbon 65?

Hopefully, they won't discontinue any existing colors in the process. Ceramic Matrix Gray, regardless of people's opinion of it, didn't even get enough time to see if it was a sell-able color for 2018. So it should stay alongside the remaining lineup.
Looking forward to Sebring Orange and the two new colors

ELKHART GREEN would look good on a C7.
