t
own 2017 stingray coupe, stock engine , 7 speed tranny, question: at 5k miles vet started to vibrate at idle, 600rpm, dealer suggested forum, service said it is-normal. i use 93 octane and not sure why at idle the vibration shakes car, is this normal? and the gas gauge always" fuel used" is ALWAYS one gallon less than when i fill it up

Mine shakes at idle and is normal. The thing is, mine has done it since new, yet your post sounds as if yours just started doing it. So did it really just start doing it or has it been doing it all along and you just never noticed?

is always one gallon less used than when it gets filled up. Just turned 4K miles, my 10, 13 & 16 were always spot on with the gallons used, figure
it is just a computer glitch.

Mine does not vibrate per se, but it will shake a bit from time to time. Normal operation for these larger engines. However, I'm not sure if we are experiencing the same thing when you say "vibrates". Welcome to the forum, and good luck. I hope it's nothing serious.

It's intentionally tuned that way (low idle) to give these engines character (they are American V8's after all). If you don't like it you can turn the idle up higher with an aftermarket tuner such as a Diablo InTune to smooth things out.

Sounds normal to me. Welcome aboard!
