In the day light it will never look that orange. It will be that washed out orange that they always put out.Don't let the bright lights and being inside fool you.

Absolutely love this color. I'm a fan of blue, Admiral in particular, but this here has me changing my mind.

I guess it qualifies to be called that.

It has been viewed in the sun, when a panel was displayed in September in Carlisle, and it does look "that orange." Those pictures were posted here at the time.

Looks very much the same as the Ignition Orange Metallic that Pontiac offered on the 2008 G8. I owned one and the color looks amazing in the full sun with all the metal flake.

Sure it will.
Either it being polished with Zaino or done with a ceramic coating, the car would shine like that.

might be a long wait, traditionally, dealers do not order these colors for stock inventory... you might get lucky and see one....

I am waiting for someone to post what they look like in daylight, so far, just artificial lighting... makes it too difficult to tell in a picture.

Ordered a ZR1 coupe and convertible in orange with the design orange package, if not she would just drive mine anyway.

That's a fair point, unless the OP lives near fairly high volume Vette dealer. I know the dealer closest to me almost never gets very "flashy" high-optioned Vettes in stock. Usually mostly automatic Stingrays, 1LT/2LT in white, silver, black, occasionally red. I think they've had a pair of Z06 and to my knowledge only one GS in the last year. For more variety, we have the larger dealers in Charlotte that get some nice ones in, though.

I have a DSOM colored car. I love it, and get a ton of compliments. Orange is one of those colors that you either love, or hate. You always get those "it reminds me of Halloween" guys. But I have had my car for over a year, only saw one other car the same color, but have seen a lot of red(which was my second choice) and a ton of white.

Just know going into it, you will get your fair share of criticism from Haters, but its your car, so do it for yourself. I Love looking at my car.

I saw the pics from the sample posted at Carlisle and while it did look "more orange" than the previous one offered for the c7 it still didn't look "that orange" as the Dubai pics.

A few forum members have ordered them and should be produced in the next few weeks.

I know Macmukin ordered at least 1 so far if not more.

Seeing one in person will be tougher. The dealers around me, your right they only order Red, Black, white, or silver.

Which is one of the reasons I bought my C6 from Macmaukin.
