The choice between a factory 750 Hp Zr1 and an aftermarket tuner 750hp Z06 isn’t a difficult one for most enthusiasts of the brand.
Some have different opinion of what the "cold reality " is.

I already have 1 Z06 with some nice mods as 2 inch ARH headers
w/ JETHOT coating. This already is 1 great mod the ZR1 ZR1 is lacking.
2. MGW shifter need one of those also.
3. DSC controller just adding this.
4. Heartbeat TVS 2300 looking at 800 hp (on order)
5. Halltech intake.
6. Mamo PTB
The choice between
the ZR1! and Having MY Z06 M7 with 800hp and proper cooling mods and another Z06 with the A8 for at this point at a less cost for me is an easy choice one for me. I would not sell or trade both cars for any ZR1.

You may have a different choice.

If you want to feel special about a car that's great.
Enjoy the "pedigree" .
The track credentials of this car have been around for a while. The wing and the big front end and hood. But really the interior is the same
the music, the PDR, the heads-up, the seats the ride.
The ZR1 is 85 percent Z06 parts. For the what I use the car's for no tracking. I like my decision on the two Z06's

Enthusiasts of the brand? That is funny running down and forking for a ZR1 makes you an Corvette "Enthusiast"?
Not hardly I would say that would be gauged by how many Corvette's you own and have owned. Hour's or days of working on them! Your track record with Corvette's Not by 1 Corvette purchase.

Nice car, great colour! Even my wife looked at the screen as she walked by any said it was a super colour and body style. She said I should sell my C4 ZR-1 and buy one like yours, but I did not have the heart to tell her that we would still be 90,000 short

Callaway is a lot more than a “tuner,” remember GM went to them for help in the 80s. As has Porsche, Mazda, Land Rover and a few others more recently including a company in the aerospace industry. They are specialty manufacturers, I’ve yet to see a tuner design a supercharger from the ground up and have it produced.

Hit the nail on the head! You forgot to add this to the end of your sentence have it produced "and patented by the patent office and validated by General Motors for use on their products!"

I have not forgotten the Callaway SC757 - we have two on the showroom floor for sale now at www.CorvetteNebraska.com!

Drive one and see how much of a difference the Callaway Supercharger makes!

Some of the people posting fail to realize, or have forgotten, the Callaway package is a GM RPO number. Not just a tuner.
That is all. Moving along.

I remember it well, but what you're talking about hasn't been offered as a genuine GM RPO for 27 years now -- the famous 'B2K', last offered in the 1991 C4. ( EDIT: also was a 2012 C6 B2K — thanks to Chris for the reminder!)

To the best of my knowledge, none of Callaway's mods for the C7 carry any sort of GM RPO. Please educate me if I am mistaken.

RPO B2K was last used in 2012 for the 25th Anniv. Callaway Corvette.

Rr: powertrain warranty, Callaway vehicles are unique in that our warranty is the only one of its kind to truly supplement the GM coverage which remains in effect. A letter to ALL GM Dealers was issued through GM's Global Connect System to speak to this point, outlining policy and protocol. No other company delivers like Callaway, and we're awfully proud of what we've got now - and looking into the future....

So, no, we haven't forgotten

To further clarify the unique position Callaway Vehicles have achieved, here's the notice sent to ALL GM Dealers through the GM Global Connect System, relating to Callaway vehicles - Corvettes, Camaros, and Trucks/SUVs.

Again, we're very proud of our 41-year history as a specialty manufacturer, and spending the past 31-years working with the Corvette and other GM products.

Thanks for the info Chris! I had forgotten about the 2012 B2K — shame on me!

Per your request, here are a couple other shots of it (i won't bore people with too many):
