Default Has the Callaway 757/777 been forgotten?

Callaway has a 757 hp/777 lb-ft Z06 available for about $17K (over the cost of a new Z06)! With the ZR1 garnering all of the headlines, Callaway is still building in CA and CN a Z06 with more power and probably at a cost savings of $20K+ over a ZR1. Check out www.callawaycars.com.

Thank you for kind words. I really enjoy this car. The power over stock is fabulous, and Callaway's all new exhaust sounds glorious as well. Combined with their short-throw shifter for the M7, this thing is an addictive rig - hard to climb out of it. I find myself taking the long route to go wherever I'm going in it, just to keep driving it.

Per your request, here are a couple other shots of it (I won't bore people with too many):

Waste of money. You could be at 750 FWHP for less than half the money of the Callaway package. Some people love to pay for badges though.....

Yep but the name along with a warranty and resale value makes it enticing.

I’d say not forgotten. They might be planning on a ZR1 upgrade with 1000 hp, and the C8 is only a couple years out. If some are willing to spend an additional $17K on Z06, I’m sure that there will be those willing to spend $25K, or whatever... for additional performance on the ZR1.

They won't changing the ZR1 blower! It already can make 1000hp
with some mods.

The 2300 on the Callaway Z06 can make pretty big power as well.
Should be very close the Callaway and the ZR1.
I just ordered the 2300 Eaton Heartbeat for my Z06. Looking for 800 hp. With supporting mods.

On the name plus what ever you do with a blower set up you can for sure cut that cost in half for getting back out of the car.

I think it will be interesting to see what Callaway will come up with now that the ZR1 horsepower has been announced.

I haven't forgotten it...I have been saying all along that the new ZR1 is the factory built Callaway Z06 757 with a new front clip and rear wing. Yes, I know there are extra coolers and will have a higher top speed because the ZR1's base areo pkg...but basically GM just did what Callaway did by putting a larger supercharger on the LT4.

Callaway is a great tuner, full stop.

But the cold reality is that at least here in the USA, modern “factory” cars are always more “special” and held in higher esteem than aftermarket tuner cars of similar HP. Factory cars have a pedigree and provenance that aftermarket tuners simply can never have.

The choice between a factory 750 Hp Zr1 and an aftermarket tuner 750hp Z06 isn’t a difficult one for most enthusiasts of the brand.

By the way, here's a shot of the exhaust. I don't have a sound clip, or I'd post that as well as it's a nice improvement over stock:

Callaway or ZR1 - there is a seat for everyone one! Callaway Cars creates powerfully engineered automobiles that come with OEM Validation - hence the Callaway Cars & Chevrolet Warranty Agreement. As a Callaway Dealer I look forward to selling the ZR1 from the Factory alongside the Callaway Supercharged Products because I am able to offer something for everyone.

A Callaway SC757 meets the needs to specific individuals just as the ZR1 - the choice is yours.

Sometimes its worth it to have the warranties when adding almost 2x the hp the car was designed for. I paid a very heavy price trying to do it the "cheaper" way with my Stang. The years of hell, bad tuners, blown engines, MMR sucks and so on. Many didnt get the issues I did but damn. Never again.

I forgot about it when they couldn't come up with a better solution than having a hole in the hood.
