Let's see...
If everyone liked the same things, GM would make only one model of Corvette in one color with one set of options.
Ugh...

Jimmy, so true!!
When I joined this forum in 1999, the posts were informative not so strongly opinionated and demeaning.
Nice car by they way!

Bravo! Bravo!
Jimmy, I don't think it could have been said any better. Especially since I own a C7 convertible, with chrome wheels, auto trans and only drives vettes on weekends when the weather is nice.

Never but never park it at a Walmart. Make sure you never go over 5,000 miles without an oil change and buy only run-flat tires. Oh, and do not join a Corvette club because they are old folks that don't auto-cross. Ha!

Great looking car! I'm a lot like you in our taste in options on these cars. What's great about these is that you can order so many combinations that you can easily have a "one of one" car.
Your post is spot on regarding forum members who act in a superior manner on this forum. The thing is, it's common on all forums from Lawnboy mowers to boats to airplanes to whatever.
I think 99% of them have no intention of putting down anyone else. That said, I do believe that many know more about these cars (than I) and may or may not have a more expensive or faster model. Is there some embellishment going on, heck yah.
I snapped back at a guy on another forum recently and he apologized so sometimes earth can reach these people.
There will always be a faster car or nicer garage that yours or mine so I say So What??
Enjoy that top down beast as much as you can!! Again, that's a beautiful car.

Old guy? I'm 76, got more than 700,000 miles in Corvettes... daily drivers all - until I began to split the DD duties with an old Ferrari four years ago...

Yup, my Novistretch Bra catches a lot of hate. But it caches a lot of bugs, too. Sorry, bugs.
p.s. and my radiator is clean!

Well said and well thought out, James.

Jimmy is on point. Car looks great, really like the machined face wheels. I have the same and installed black lug nuts\blacked out outer rim. Only produced 1 year and if I recall only around 300 vettes have them.

I’m a 64 year old base, 1LT, A8, daily driver with two sets of chrome wheels. I enjoy my car and the countless conversations and questions it has inspired. Took the two day course at Spring Mountain so I understand how three car and it’s systems work, and how I work with them. No owner or driver envy here...enjoying every mile. I hope the critics can say the same.
