I am in the anti chrome group but my Sterling blue metallic came with chrome wheels. They have grown on me and not really sure black wheels would look good on that color since it seems to change from silver to blue depending on lighting. Maybe machined wheels would look good, I don’t know.

Our cars look good with Black or Chrome wheels. As mentioned, if you are over 50 you like chrome.

I just have to say it-your car is gorgeous with those wheels and the color combo with the grey top. Don't see white and grey too often-a real sleeper.

Or if you're under 50 (i.e. me) have an appreciation for individual preferences and refuse to be swayed or influenced by the herd, you may also like chrome!

That's not true. I'm quite sure the majority are over 50. Some old folks are not rigid and can embrace a wide variety of preferences. As for me, while I'm not a chrome fan, I think some cars and colors look better in silver, while others are better in black. For some reason, the C7 only looks good to me with black wheels.

I believe that trend, and the opinion of chrome wheels has/is changing a lot. Black wheels have gotten "long in the tooth", but to each their own.

I prefer silver painted. Chrome is old school and black looks like a black hole.

I’ve always been a fan of chrome wheels and always will be. The only black wheels I like are the ones that have a machines face to them.

Why decide at all?

My 2016 base Stingray coupe A8 came with the blacks and Roberts Home of Circular Vehicle Transport Support sold me a set of chrome GM take offs. Discount Tire spooned on a new set of Michelin Super Sports and Robert is your dad’s brother, VIOLA!

Well, I'm well past 50 so here ya' go. However I was thinking about the new Sebring Orange on a Vette the other day, and concluded black wheels could look good on that.

I think they both look great. Ordered mine with chrome. My aftermarket wheels are black. Can't go wrong with either.
