Default Z06 ground clearance

I am looking at purchasing a 2017 Z06 that has the exposed carbon fiber ground effects. I have speed bumps I have to go over to get to my house. Does anyone have the ground clearance specs with the ground effects package. I have concerns I won’t be able to get the car over the bumps without scraping.. Thanks

You might want to check the z06 area of the forum. Might get some more feedback than here.

The front splitter on my 15 Z06/Z07 is 5 5/8 inches off the ground.

No clearance specs here, but those shown above in Post 3 seem to be about right. As with many of us, I have a couple of speed bumps that I have to negotiate from time to time as well. Commonly held approach is to approach at an angle and as slowly as possible, sliding one front wheel over and then the other. This seems to work. I got into a discussion about this with one of my friends (who happens to own a gorgeous Ford GT) and let him demonstrate with his car first. He's a risk taker --- I'm not.

I don't have issues with the speed bumps, but I do have to be careful where driveways transition to the road and vice-versa.

I've not had issues with speed bumps (going slow), but steep driveways can be an issue.

I have this same question, looking at a Z06 with the visible carbon fiber ground effects. What should I measure on my driveway to make sure the car will clear without scraping?

Clearance specs will vary slightly from car to car due to suspension calibration, but I believe that mine was about 5 1/2” when I measured upon installing the Stage 2/3 splitter, which wasn’t much lower than the Stage 1.

I have a 2019 z06 and i have had less issues with scraping than my 2013 gs had. Not sure why. Have more ground effects on this one than the c6

IF the Z06 is stock, you may have some travel UP to raise the car on the stock bolts. most lower theirs, but the screws turn both ways. I find i am much more alert about navigating inclines with the CF front spltter
google lowering on stock bolts for videos, threads etc, here are a few
