I’m with you! At 51 I’m probably considered an old fart to some of you but I was never a fan of chrome wheels on my cars or bikes. On white, red, & yellow cars the black wheels look awesome! But machine face FTW!! 🍻
Sorry to those who feel like they wasted a click. This wasn't meant to bait you. This was more about a new car that under the dealership lighting, the chrome really shined and I thought it looked good. I don't normally take good pictures.
Can anybody really deny that these wheels don't look great on this car? With the black carbon flash and the red calipers, the chrome sets it off.
My opinion, my car so I'm happy! Other wheels would look great also.
There isn't a bad choice on these cars, is there? Here is the reverse angle.
This is my favorite OEM wheel. However I'm an admitted wheel snob so I usually side step the black vs. chrome debate and purchase aftermarket forged that offer a variety of finishes.
I picked up my new '17 Z51 mn7 today and the chrome wheels look incredible. I figure this picture should end the argument-chrome wins!

Agree! I ordered those on my 2018 still in the oven. Not to spin here but thinking of Xpel for F/E, rockers, mirrors, dog legs and rear quarter. I used Klasse on MY Grand Cherokee and Ultra Classic and liked it. But am thinking of ceramic on remainder of car. Got time to consider options. Prior 1970 454 big block owner for 30 years.

For my personal car I am not a big fan of red for the long term. Your red Corvette is just absolutely beautiful with that great shine and chrome wheels that really sparkle to set off the wheel area especially at night under streetlights. Thanks for showing us the advantage of a Corvette looking classy rather than the same car with black wheels looking like a gangster-mobile. (Just my personal belief, not asking anyone to change preferences.)
Our cars look good with Black or Chrome wheels. As mentioned, if you are over 50 you like chrome.
I am 52 so I am over 50 and Black wheels 100% for me!
