Anyone take off RPI or ACS etc. skirts? Are the holes visible from the side of the car?

The side skirts can be installed using just the factory screws and double sided tape. When you remove side skirts put the screws back in and all will be good. If someone drilled holes or put rivets in you will know during removal. I think their are only 5 screws that get removed from the body then reused in the same holes to hold the side skirts up.

I think what he is asking is if it all ready has been drilled, I used double back tape and front and rear bolts, I would assume they are visible at certain angles of viewing

If you drive with out the side skirts your lower sides will sand blasted and your rear brake vents will be screwed up as well. The side skirts protect the lower sides. Been there done that!

The drivers side of the car.The cooling lines are in that rocker panel if you have a Automatic Trans.Any additional work done to that side should be shallow. The lines are their. How deep?

Thanks... my specific question relates to a base Stingray that had them added and I may want to take them off. They screw/rivet to the lower 1/2 of the rocker that is on a 45 degree angle.... looked at a couple C7s on my way home today and you can clearly see that area. So unless you want to fill/paint the rockers, you're keeping skirts on in some fashion.
Yes I understand they protect the sides of the car, but I really like how they look without them. Accentuates the hourglass/coke bottle shape of the car.

Anyone look into using Plastic Drive Rivets that would be easier to remove..................

Im still thinking I'll use Aluminum 3/16" Rivets that have the 5/8" Dia Head........Fairly easy to drill and remove
