The last time I stood in line for anything was back in the day. I waited outside a Montgomery Ward's store to open to buy a Cabbage Patch doll.

I don’t want anything bad enough to stand in line for hours. The amount of time I waste waiting nullifies any discount I might receive on a closeout product when I really want the new release item. Plus traffic in the DC area sucks too. Amazon Prime is pretty quick and saves me a bunch of time.

agree noting I want bad enough to stand in line or go early - but years ago when my children were young - I did go very early stood in line for a couple hours for something they wanted - things you do for your children
