Stop bashing the poor deer. Its not their fault. Blame the road department. They are the ones putting up the deer crossing signs making the deer cross in bad locations.

Well my last trip from Seattle area to Wichita I came across deer 1- Rainier Mountain National Park 2- 3 bear crossings in Yellowstone and 2 more deer crossings in Wyoming That's wildlife for you and in the 1990's I hit a deer with my 1990 pontiac bonneville with the rear deer of a foursome crossing from right to left and saw to flying over the roof of my car !!! Damage was such that I could still drive 500 miles back home !! Just remember folks you don't stop because the animal could land on the windshield and kiil you !! Just pull over I hit that deer at 55mph !!! Wayne

Very happy they finally got your car straightened out. First off, kudos to the dealer for making good on the repair. They did botch it pretty bad on the first go around. But everybody makes mistakes, and not everybody makes it up to the consumer when that is pointed out to them.
One last note: drivers rarely hit deer. It's the other way around, as evidenced by the opening video: deer hit the cars. There brains are just not programmed to deal with 2 ton objects hurtling through their habitat @ 60 mph, and they don't have the intelligence to adapt. If you want to assign 'blame' in this situation it's on government/society in general for not taking the management of the deer population more seriously. That involves a focused program, not an expansion of hunting season. The only successful method I've found involves getting the deer to eat feed that lowers fertility rates. I'm in NY State about 50 miles NW of NY City, we're overwhelmed with too many deer in our area. It's getting so bad there are too many deer in Bergen County, NJ at the house where I grew up, which is <10 miles from the GW Bridge. That's ridiculous.
