Yes I realize some there will be some o0oo000colors, and the 0w40 oil fill. However will there be any other changes?
I think to A10 is out, no chance. But will the GS get a bump in HP ? Will they change any panels, even suble changes. They did it with the C4, they used slightly different side vents from 94 to 96, and they changed the seat.
Are we sure they will be the same???
And what about the ZO6, will it get any cooling changes?? Or small cosmetic changes?
The order guide gives no info in this regard.
Your thoughts ?

I noticed it on some other ZR1 debut pics. I can only assume it to be an LED turn signal.
These pics are from the Dubai unveiling. So maybe this is a euro spec thing, but it was something that stood out to me. I haven't noticed any mention of it

It's probably a euro spec thing or a ZR1 only thing but it doesn't look like it's going to be on any of the non ZR1s here in North America

"geegaws" are in the eye of the beholder. GM and other manufacturers have side mirror turn signals standard or available for years with a popular following as a valid SAFETY feature, as the driver of a car ABEAM one so equipped can see indications of an impending turn that otherwise would be unknown.
Thanks for the lukewarm welcome...

If safety is your utmost concern, a Corvette is probably not your best choice. Not only does is not have turn signal indicators on the mirrors (Gasp!) it also does not have lane change nannies nor blind spot indicators. It's cruise control system is not adaptive. And it doesn't even have headlight washers and THOSE have been around for several decades! Many people feel overall visibility is poor, and let's face it, at circa 3200 pounds it has no chance against a larger vehicle. I'm sure a bit more scrutiny on your part and you will find a long list of things the Corvette lacks that have been standard equipment in Volvos and large SUVs for years. Indeed, here's a list of the world's safest cars: http://money.cnn.com/2017/05/25/auto...oad/index.html Choose one of these and stay away from Corvettes. They are just death traps on wheels. A Volvo station wagon might be your best bet. Volvo has promised us a death-proof car by 2020.

How could I be sooooo ignorant... adding 20 feet of 20 AWG wire to the existing wiring harness and replacing the stock mirror with the LED version as has been done in Chevies and competing marques since at least 2012 will add perhaps two ounces to the weight and likely at most $20.00 to the cost of building an $80,000 car...

Parking sensors and blind-spot detection just to name 2 that are on our Altima. The consensus is that the addition of all of these extra safety features also adds weight.
If you compare our missing features to other sports cars this caliber, you see similar features missing. Look at the Porsche 911, it lists its safety features as 'Brakes', 'airbags', 'anti-roll over protection'.
Sports cars were always supposed to be stripped down to the bare essentials to achieve best lap times. It wasn't until the 90's before Porsche succumbed to our demands for cup holders.
All of the extras that some people require from a sports car could likely be the reason the CTS-V was created.
