New GS in the Family
I have a 75 L-82 convertible and wife wanted her own corvette, so we adopted this 2018 GS. Boy have Corvettes changed in 42 years.

Oooh, I like it. I really liked the Admiral Blue in person, and might have bought one if I could find it with the red interior. All the ones I saw had black interiors. Anyway, that color looks GREAT in person.
Have you driven it much yet?
If you're worried about winter weather, I just put the Michelin Alpin Pilot PA4 winter tires on my month-old GS and it's a huge improvement in colder weather and on wet roads. They're also much quieter. I got mine for about $1600/set from TireRack.

She hasn't driven it much yet, but I expect that to change. Every time she takes it out, the grin on her face gets larger.
Thanks for the info on the tires, but we live in Savannah and average temp here in January is still in the high 50's to low 60's.

Both beautiful Vettes, congrats!
I bought a new 75 Silver Coup with red interior when I was a senior in HS, cost me about $7700. I remember because it was All the money I had saved to that point in my life. Really wish I still had it.
The 1975 seemed to demand as much attention back then as the new ones do today.

When I graduated college in 76 my folks split the cost of a used 74 L82 4speed for $6K. They paid half. And I had to borrow the other half from them. Paid em back eventually.
What a wonderful car. Like you, I wish I still had it.
My latest is a 17 GS. Others in between.

Congratulations, I love them both ... and you even bought her the right color! Oh how I'd love to be able to have a choice when I went out to the garage for a drive. Maybe someday, but at least I can appreciate a couple of you guys that posted who do.
