Callaway not Calloway...the misspelling is extremely appropriate considering you're speaking of things of which you have no clue.

As it's been said before, Callaway is the ONLY company with a Powertrain warranty which works with your GM coverage that remains unblocked. That's a huge difference.

Not LPE or any of the other companies out there can say that. Nobody!
Or if they do, it should be in writing.

Callaway's warranty statement was published and distributed by GM, to ALL GM dealers through Global Connect last month...also posted here to the forum.

Not saying anything other than pointing out this key difference. Callaway stands alone...remind me how/why they were drug into this topic again?

"If there is no Callaway-Authorized Dealer nearby, you may follow this procedure with your closest Buick, Chevrolet, GMC or Cadillac Dealer."

Last time I checked, Cadillac dealers will not (can not) do warranty work on Chevrolet and Chevrolet will not do Warranty work on Cadillac.
Is this unique to Callaway installs? Or has GM changed this?

Any GM dealer can do warranty work on a GM vehicle. I used to take my Cadillac to the nearest Chevrolet dealer (the caddy dealer was far and a pain) and my Silverado to a GMC dealer that was minutes from my house.

Edelbrock E-Force TVS2300 intercooled supercharger system
Grey & red powder coated finish
Clears the factory C7 Corvette hood
Lingenfelter logo on supercharger cover
Based on OEM Eaton supercharger unit
Lingenfelter CNC ported LT1 cylinder heads
Lingenfelter dual valve springs, titanium retainers, 10 degree locks
Lingenfelter supercharger camshaft by Competition Cams
LT4 DI fuel pump
High Flow Green Air Filter
Excellent drivability, highway mileage not adversely affected
Professional assembly & engine installation
Custom engine control module reprogramming
Chassis dyno testing before & after installation
Lingenfelter 3 year/ 36,000 mile warranty
Lingenfelter certificate of authenticity
Lingenfelter chrome fender badges, interior badge & personalized stainless engine badge
Four wheel alignment, cleaning & detailing, full tank of 93 Octane fuel before delivery

Once they disassemble the motor and put it back together, that factory lifter becomes their part. I’d love to read the full warranty...bc it me they don’t have one. I’d be very tempted to lawyer up on this one...it stinks.

I don't know if Lingenfelter sells their package w/o installation, but you said in your first post you had their package. Did Lingenfelter install it, or did some other company/shop do the labor? Are you within the 3/36 window for their warranty, or is the installation after the 3 years, if done by Lingenfelter?

Where did you check????? A local Caddy dealer did the oil pan gasket on my 07 in 2012 (under warranty). Any GM dealer will work on and/or honor warranty/repairs on all GM vehicles.

It was shortly after I purchased my Silverado in August 2015. I asked my local Caddy dealer when I had mine in for service if they could do the work on the Silverado. He said after GM spun Cadillac into their own entity (Cadillac HQ moved to New York) they no longer did any non Caddy work under warranty or scheduled comp maintenance.
I also asked the Buick/GMC dealer who now does my Silverado work and he indicated the same thing.
It is very hard to have any reliable maintenance done at my local Chevrolet dealers.

I think that might be a dealer choice and not a GM mandate. I believe that all owners manuals state that you can take your GM vehicle to any GM store for service and/or warranty but I could be wrong. Remember there are many "Cadillac/GMC/Buick" (etc) and other combos located all over the country selling and servicing more than one brand under the same roof.

I take my CTS to the local Chevy dealer with no problems whatsoever. Free stuff is still free. They do an excellent job on all three of my GM vehicles. Couldn't ask for a better dealership. I've been going to the sae place for 25 years and have never had an issue.
