I was going to say black, but looks like that's a no go...how about black and red?

Then get another color. If there's anything that is subjective, color choice is at the top of the list. People choose the color they are most attracted to, and really no one else can or should determine for you what that color is. People on this forum can often help you with options because some options go well with others, but color? Do you really want to be influenced by someone else's idea of a nice interior color? You're the one who has to sit in the car and live with that choice.

I've always used red on red....can't get enough red for me....but I also really like the tu-tone red/black leather and the tu-tone red/black alcanta.

I also did not want an all black interior so i went with two tone adrenaline red. All red was a little bit much but the two tone won me over when I saw the black contrast with the red.

There is no best choice for color.

People can give you their opinions all day long, and you agree or not, all day long.

One person will tell you that color is the worst of all colors, another will tell you that Kalahari with red is the worst of all combinations, another will tell you.............

What makes you want to puke? What stirs your heart strings? Only you can answer this. Only you will live with it.

Only you can decide.

The second reason for ordering gray is that the seats won't be super hot when you get into the car wearing shorts on a hot summer day. Black leather can get so hot you could literally burn yourself. That's important if you order a 1LT since you don't get the vented seat option.

And another good reason for ordering gray with red is that it's a combination that doesn't get ordered by dealers very often at all, so it's very unique and it looks amazing. I will post pics of mine when it arrives (should be here next week!)

I've always preferred a black interior on a sports car, mostly because I think the other colors draw too much attention to the seats.

If I was to buy a non-black seat color on a C7, I would go with red interior with a silver exterior. They really got the red interior right with the C7.

Since you want a red exterior, I'd say go with the grey seats. The C7's have a nice light grey that will contrast nicely with the red paint and black carpet / trim.

I'd stay away from the tan interior with red exterior. In the pics above, it looks like the Vette is trying to be a Ferrari. (No offense if this is someone's car. My opinion is a matter of my taste.)

There is a grey with black two-tone that looks more interesting than grey alone.
But, as others have pointed out, this is similar to asking what's best, chocolate or vanilla, blondes or brunettes?
