I don't care too much for black either, especially leather as it shows imperfections too much and soaks up the heat.
I would definitely go with Kalahari, red as a second choice.

ALL colors soak up the heat in direct sunlight - regardless.

Black, actually hides imperfections and stains. A black magic marker, and you're good to go. Red, Kalahari and Gray show imperfections AND stains.

I've seen Kalahari that is turning yellow-tinted.

Red reminds me of the hideous silver t/a interiors.

Ok, I will try to remember that; black to stay cool.

Maybe if you are blind. Only thing that looks worst than a scuffed up black interior is one where someone has marked it up with a magic marker "trying" to make it look better.

Silver interior was fairly popular back in '74/'75, Corvettes used it as well.
Never cared for it myself.

You'll need to be blind, or Jonesen' Jones, NOT to see leather imperfections and stains on any color but Jet Black.

Red! With tan interiors!

The problem is that Kalahari is more orange than tan.

There is a massive difference between light gray and black in regards to heat retention! My C5 had black seats and if I left it parked outside in the hot sun I could barely sit on the seats when wearing shorts, they were dangerously hot. With the light gray seats in my C6 I could leave the car in the hot sun all day long and when I first sat down on the seats in shorts they were hot but not uncomfortable or dangerous by any means.

The two best looking interior colors in a Red Vette are Red and Gray.

Red is #1 (the best)... And in some cases can add to the value of your car.

Light Gray is the 2nd best.

Very Ferrari ish
Kalahari goes with everything!

I just wish the 3LT was still a full Kalahari.

You live in Canada and you're complaining about hot seats ?

Black seats heat up faster but they also cool off faster.

Here's my previous C6 Victory Red w/Gray interior. I liked the color combo, but I'll be honest the gray will show dirt quickly. So you will have to stay on top on the cleaning process. In the Torch Red C7 I like the two tone Black/Red combo. Just seems to tie the whole thing together. Good luck on your choice.
