Default Black Rose headed South/Delivery Post/Barn finds 12/17/17 Mike Furman at Criswell ***

~I very rarely meet a Corvette customer that is not a member of some Corvette Club...and when I do I point them in the direction of the Corvette Museum as a great place to start. You don't have to visit Bowling Green,
KY to be a Museum member as you can learn from their web site all the advantages available. In the trunk of every new Corvette delivery is a postcard that I fill out for the customer that gives them one year free membership which includes a quarterly Corvette magazine. Usually anyone that makes the pilgrimage just one time to visit the Corvette Museum gets them hooked for life. As for me, I'm a Lifetime Member of the Corvette Museum for over 15 years now...I'm also an NCRS member since 1991. Bottom line is, whatever Corvette owner you are...there is plenty to do in America's Greatest Sports Car.

~Harlan Charles posted this fun picture of his 2019 ZR1 company car in the snow covered driveway of his home.

~Deliveries that left the yard this week...

~Gentleman from Texas picked out this Beauty of a Z06 Convt. in Black Rose Metallic.

~The Frank Class Corvette Barn Find/Throwback section is full of Barn finds in dire need of restoring. Pick out which old picture is your favorite and post it.

(This C3 Corvette has less then 10 miles on the odometer...why it was bought and left like this I will never know!)

Now on to others ...

~Drive safe this Holiday week...below is my 1967 Corvette Cpe in Marina Blue with White interior. It is now stored away for the next 90 days as Winter is upon us here in Maryland.

Happy Holidays to all.

Good Morning to ya,Mike Corvette's and Coffee this morning.A good start.Sad to see all the Corvettes and Carnage this week.
These Bodies can't take the slightest contact with anything. Not worth the drive with these Sport Cup Tires. The enjoyment of the capabilities of the C7 is all about,Traction and Sticking in a corner.
If ya ain't Stick-in your might take a Lick-in....
Sucks to Park it But hay it's part of the Corvette Owner Program...
Have a Merry One,Mike

Thanks for another great week Mike. Your '67 looks sweet! It's difficult to look at all of those early Corvettes in disrepair and realize they were just "used cars" at one stage.

It would be interesting to know why someone bought that '82, drove it home and parked it. What did the owner have in mind???

How close are you to the 4,000th Corvette sale?

My best guess is I will reach 4,000 this Spring...and 5,000 Spring of 2021.

I like the red 68 or 69 Corvette roadster. I had one like it only a 350-350HP small block with a 4 speed. The one in the picture looks like it had a big block hood and might be a rat motor car. I was looking for another of your famous pictures of a deer hanging on the back of a Corvette but didn't see one this Sunday! Ha! Thanks for posting the great pictures Mike and I hope you sell lots of new cars next week and have a great holiday season.

That is impressive to state the obvious.

Anyone special in mind for number 4,000 or will the chips just fall where they may? Whoever gets it, a museum delivery with the buyer and you in person would be quite fitting.

Great pictures again this week Mike, and congrats. to all of the new owners.

Really like the Torch Red C7 Stingray convertible,
but I may be slightly biased...........

The throwback pictures which I thought were cool this week were the C1 in the "gray skies of doom and gloom" winter season...............

and then the C3 roadster with the spring colors of green in the background, giving us all something to look forward too once the winter season passes here in the USA.................

Have a great week, and may the fast approaching holiday's be the safest and best they can be for you and yours..........

The Armstrong Vette is cool, but I will take this beauty this week.

There were too many depressing photos in the line up this week. I don't like seeing neglected Vettes.

Have a great week and Merry Christmas.

It's funny you say that because the Gentleman that took delivery of #3,000 calls himself Mr.3000 when he stops by to see me. Richard factory ordered a 2014 Limerock Green Convt to match his Green 74 Jaguar that he fully restored. There is an article/pics on my Corvettefurman.com web site.
