6 weeks ago I ordered a 2018 Grand Sport in Long Beach Red with Spice Red Interior. Visited the dealer on December 22 and the order was still at "1100" - does not look like it will be built. In Canada the order book for 19's is not open. Does anybody know if Spice Red interior will be available for 2019?

The 2019 Order Guide shows Spice Red is only available with the 3LT/3LZ option.

Yes, spice red is available for 2019.

Sounds like maybe your dealer didn't have an allocation for the Vette you ordered. You might want to inquire about their allocation situation before you place a 2019 order with them and get stuck waiting on them to get an allocation.

When I ordered 6 weeks ago the dealer had 2 - 18's on order 1 at status 3300 "Order Scheduled for Production" - which they feel they could not make any changes to and the other at 3000 "Order Accepted by Production Control" -They had hoped the 2nd one they would be able to make a color change. After 5 weeks and having me go into the dealer to find out that it did not happen. Good news that the Spice Red is available and bad news for the dealer - maybe I will order from a different dealer after getting the run around.

If you decide to go a different dealer and looking for one in US in NY look up Van Bortel Chevy there just outside Rochester, NY around 1 1/2 hours from Peace Bridge. I ordered my 17 GS Blade Silver with Spice Red from them and did deal and trade over phone with Nate. Deal couldn't have gone any smoother and they have a great in door show room with about 70 - 80 new and used Corvettes. Here is some pictures of my GS. Last pic is in garage with door down making Spice Red darker. Make sure to see Spice Red in person before ordering.
