Default *ZR1 starts/Mid Engine heats up/Delivery Post 12-31-17 +Throwback pics-Mike Furman***

~The New Year is here, 2018...where did this past year go? Zora has been gone since 1996 and the C8 mid engine talk is looking like it will become reality late 2019 as a 2020 model year. In a few weeks GM starts distributing C7 ZR1 allocations based upon this past years Z06 sales. The ZR1 debut in Dubai and LA was a big hit and as I saw with my own eyes...stunning from every angle. Imagine 755HP in a GM produced vehicle coming to a garage near you, Corvette...America's #1 Sports Car! The 7th Generation certainly has put the Corvette World into a whole new frontier.

~John S. Of Glendora, California called me a couple of weeks ago and picked out this new 2017 Corvette Z06 Cpe in Watkins Glen Gray with Dark Gray interior. This Corvette is cooler then the other side of the pillow. Plycon Trucking has loaded it in their enclosed trailer and it's on its way 2,620 miles from Criswell to John’s driveway in California.
Equipment list includes: Competition Seats, J57 Ceramic Brake rotors, Auto trans, chrome wheels, Navigation/PDR and 2LZ Pkg.

~Joe P. Of Churchville, Md factory ordered his dream Corvette 6 weeks ago which happens to be his very first Corvette that he has owned! Torch Red with Kalahari is a fantastic color combo for this 2018 Corvette Grand Sport Cpe with 7spd manual trans, Chrome wheels, red calipers, Navigation /PDR and 2LT Pkg. Joe is thrilled to be an official Corvette owner!

~Robert W. Of Grovetown, Georgia found exactly what he was seeking for his 3rd C7 in my inventory. Robert called me up a few weeks ago to start the process and today he drove away in his brand new 2017 Z06/Z07 Corvette in Arctic White with Adrenaline Red interior. This Corvette is loaded with Competition Seats, Carbon fiber Ground effects, CF instrument panel, 7spd manual, black wheels, CF painted mirrors, Navigation/PDR, 2LZ Pkg and much more.

~So almost two years ago Julie and Tina from Eagle, Michigan found me thru the Stingrayforums.com web site and travelled 580 miles in a rental car to drive home in their very first Corvette...Z06! This week they did the same 580 rental car trip and drove home in a brand new 2018 Silverado 2500 crew cab with the Diesel engine. We also spent time at the Corvette Bash in Bowling Green, KY and then also we attended the Corvette driving school together at Spring Mountain in Pahrump, Nevada.
Pictures below of all and more to follow as well...in years to come.

When they picked up their 2016 Z06...Feb 2016

When we met up at the Corvette Bash in Bowling Green, KY...April 2016

and when we were in Pahrump, Nevada for the Spring Mountain Corvette driving class...October 2016

~Some other deliveries that left the yard...

~The Frank Class Corvette Throwback/Barn find section...post up which picture is your favorite.

~Happy New Year to all~Drive Safe.

*Please call me for any info on a new or used Corvette you are seeking. I have plenty of 2019 Corvette allocations every week.

Truly amazing the Horsepower with pump gas,Nowadays. My first job was wrenching and pumping gas at a Sunoco Station.
Circa:1974.GM had crap for HP Ratings from the factory. The late 60's power and gear heads built with higher compression ratio's.To get results from their builds. It was either a trip to the airport or Sunoco 260 to run properly.Saw some serious Muscle in them Days.
Now it's Back.Plus,Plus HANDLING.Truly a great car.
CORVETTE.And have it your way..Come see Furman Today..
Hope to catch up with ya..Next Year
Fav. And Wishing all you Neighborhood Racers and Track

Default Tony’s C2

I believe the bronzed colored C2 pictured is the ‘64 tanker owned by Tony of Tony’s Corvettes in Mike’s hometown of Gaithersburg, Maryland.

What a beauty!

Thanks for the great pictures and stories again this week Mike!

Congrats. to all of the new owners, Corvettes and other models too!

Continued success in 2018 to Mike and all of the Corvette owners, may it be even better than years past.

With the abundance of snow and frigid temperatures covering the Midwest and eastern half of the US, this photo stands out for me this week...................... the start of the Corvette, America's Sports Car and current weather conditions.
