Well, after 15 years of only driving GM cars, I'm done.

We’re in a court of sorts...a court of public opinion where you have been the judge and jury in slamming this dealership. However, unlike a real court of law you never gave the defendant a chance to present their side. In this absence, I’m afraid your thread has amounted to a Kangaroo Court.
Well there you have it. Its your fault plain and simple. You were offered a plan that would protect you and handle situations like this and you chose to gamble, you lost and it bit you in the ***.
I never felt sympathetic for those who bought high dollar toys (me included) who were offered plans ie: extended service contracts, T&W packages then they have mechanical issues or rims break- and ITS GOING TO HAPPEN then it boo frickin who I hate the world, I hate the manufacturer.
Look at the person in the mirror, you could’ve avoided this but you felt you were being shrewd so you cut off your nose to spite your face.

Yes, exactly, he has to prove that the dealer caused the damage. It’s called “burden of proof” and it is required in a court of law for the claimant to prove the dealer is at fault. Damn man, did you not ever learn any of this in school? In regards to your last comment, this thread is not just about a wheel...it’s about a dealership’s reputation and all the people who take pride in working for that dealer. What price do you put on this?
No one but you is disputing that the dealer cracked the wheel- not even the dealer.

"It's a major award!"
Ladies and gentlemen, we pause for this commercial (or comical) announcement. An award for those who, regardless of which side of the argument you're on, you feel truly deserve it....
And now we return to our regularly scheduled CF posts

A lawyer who can't intimidate/manipulate the dealer owner can't be very good. I barely got out of HS but am worth $300 hr.
Best way to deal with a dealer is by using reason, guilt and shame. Works for me, always get what I want.
By the way, I've been an entrepreneur all my life, real estate, boats and cars. Lawyers were known to be difficult to deal with. Whenever I needed one I had to direct him on how to win.

GM offered a leather jacket to make up for the dealer being incompetent. Dealer had nothing to do with that. That was a "sorry that sucked so much" gift.

234 posts/11 pages about a broken wheel? Somebody needs to put a bullet in this thread to put it out of its misery.

You have some more reading to do. You’re not even talking about the additional 3 page, 57 post thread “How would you handle this dealership situation” that also pertains to this same wheel. Can’t wait ‘til the C8s come rolling off the line. Thanks Village Idiot.

Would love to see a photograph of you and Mark Eddins, Friendly Chev. owner, shaking hands in front of your new GS.
