New Year, New Rides!
The wifey and I have had five Vettes since 2011 and we were "Vette-less" until a few days ago...and started to feel the itch again...Chevy's deals along with my local dealer (Thompson Group/Classic Chevy Fleet) made it a no-brainer...
Say hello to #6 - she's a 2017 C7 Z06 3LZ 7-spd Manual...and well, guess it was time for a new truck too - 2018 Silverado 3500 High Country 4x4 Diesel Crew Cab. And just for good measure I decided to step up and joined the NCM permanently - for life! Lifetime Membership for us! I originally was going to go with a GS but once wifey saw the Z06...well, the rest is history!
I'll tell you what really sealed the deal though, I was instructing a student with a C7Z a few days previously...oh yeah! I bought it and the weather quickly went to cold (well, for Texas LOL) so it's just sitting in the garage looking pretty...need to get some miles on her! The few miles that I have driven so far have been awesome! Cannot wait to hit the track for a bit with it...
How about that grip? <----referencing the first pic...

Congrats on both. I bought a new white Chevy truck last month and a new ceramic matrix gray 2018 GS last week. Carbon flash hash marks being installed by dealer

Absolutely! One is a Monte Carlo ASA/GTA with LS1 power and the other is a Camaro TA2 with LS3 power. Both are tube frame race cars that are campaigned in the SCCA GT2 class. Next race is COTA this February! The pix below are from the SCCA Runoffs at Indy last year.
