I have stayed at the Drury Inn numerous times and at last years bash. I have always paid around $125-$140/night. I like it enough that I don't even comparison shop much anymore, I just book with Drury. Full breakfast as well. Plenty of other Vette owners stayed there for the bash last year and they sold out all the rooms so you're ahead of things by booking this time of year.
I think I have stayed at every Drury Inn that is in Ky, they are all very nice and a good value for what you get.

One piece of advice I will give. Stay away from the Country Hearth Inn just across the street. Sure it’s close and economical, but also not clean nor well maintained. I have given them a try twice and will not be going back.

La Quinta(rated #8 in Bowling Green) is very good as is the Best Western Bowling Green(rated #4 in Bowling Green).
In fact, I have reservations at the Best Western for the Tri-5 Nationals in Bowling Green in August.
The Hotel SYNC is rated #1 and the Hyatt Place is rated #2 and the Drury is rated #3.

Many have had ok experiences at the Super 8 across the highway from the NCM; others, the Hampton Inn down the road. Several other hotels, too. One place I do like to eat is the Montana Grille, not that expensive, worth it--never had a bad meal and really good service.

We have always stayed at the Hampton Inn, (I have a Corporate acct)
That being said, I would recommend contacting the NCM and find out who is on the lodging list? Many times there are discounts available during the events that are even better than the Corporate Rate.

Wife and I just stayed at Drury Inn this past Wednesday.
I second the recommendation, but with one provision - there was significant and never ending traffic noise. If you are sensitive to such, it might be a problem.
But everything else about the place was well within reasonable expectations for the cost.

Or try a B&B. Park your car in a spacious garage.
Check out Spongie Acres. About 15min from museum.

Texas Lone Star Corvette Club is staying at the Hilton Garden Inn; great location, can walk to Montana's for dinner.
If someone from CF will grab the bull by the horns and call to block rooms (for a group rate) the price would be very competitive to the mid-value hotels......just saying.
